This is how they chased Turkish citizens and PKK supporters

The streets of Belgium turned into a fire scene when PKK supporters carried out a provocation. Images of PKK supporters, who are said to have beaten a citizen of Turkish origin, being chased through the streets in the Heusden-Zolder district of the Limburg region, were spread on social media.

Returning from the so-called Newroz celebrations in Heusden-Zolder, about an hour away from the capital Brussels, PKK supporters drove around with rags symbolizing the terrorist organization PKK and posters of leader Abdullah Öcalan in their cars.

Stating that the state authorities showed the necessary importance after the events started, Gül stated that the police blocked the relevant roads and closed the entrances upon rumors that supporters of the terrorist organization from the surrounding cities and countries would come and intervene in the events.

Gül invited citizens to maintain peace.

Houthalen-Helchteren Mayor Alain Yzermans, in his statement to the local press, explained that the events started as a result of the attack of a Turkish young man during the convoy of PKK supporters, and that the events escalated when this spread rapidly on social media.

Yzermans noted that the situation was already under control and that the police would remain vigilant by patrolling until the morning. (AA)This content was published by Hazar Saygın.
