Tove studied at the medical school in Linköping. This summer she took a study break to be close to her family in Vetlanda.
But the time together did not last long. After being missing for over two weeks, she was found dead on Wednesday in a wooded area east of Vetlanda.
– You could always talk to her if you wanted to. She was a spontaneous, happy and open girl with her heart in the right place, recalls Tove’s uncle Carsten.
Two young women are in custody on suspicion of kidnapping.
– We want to know what happened. We want the answers. We don’t really know how to proceed, says Tove’s aunt Carina.
The incident has shaken Vetlanda. Thousands of people have joined the search – a commitment that touched Tove’s family deeply.
– We want to say a big thank you to everyone, this means that Tove will never be forgotten, says uncle Carsten.
