It’s been a scorching hot summer day and the stuffiness still lingers in the city at around 7pm. We just cycled into park Lepelenburg. Jeroen rides the Soepfiets, an electrically powered cargo bike filled with coffee, tea, bottles of water, eggs, balls of cheese and – well, soup. Merve cycles after it, the crate on her handlebars is filled with a few cups of curry with rice and halal chicken.
