Mora defeated AIK 3-1 after great drama on Wednesday evening. The result means that Mora takes home the match series with 4-2 and thus joins Brynäs, Djurgården and Karlskoga in the semi-final stage.
Shortly after the final match, it was also time for Brynäs coach Niklas Gällstedt to make his choice for the semi-finals.
In connection with TV4 Play’s broadcast, Gällstedt was interviewed, where he announced that Brynäs chooses to face Karlskoga in the semi-finals.
– We naturally look at statistics and even in this case it is the lowest ranked team that we have gone to, explained Gällstedt in TV4 Play’s broadcast.
Brynä’s choice of Karlskoga also means that Djurgården will automatically be pitted against Mora, where the Stockholm team will have the home field advantage.
