The problems with the diesel trains on the Fryksdal line have been a consequence and the frequent faults that have occurred with the trains have meant that planned maintenance has not been possible.

As of this autumn, Värmlandstrafik and Region Värmland hope to rectify the problems. The Public Transport Board has decided to rent three trains at a cost of six million kronor and the idea is that they will start rolling this autumn while existing trains are repaired one by one.
