The culminating Playoffs matches of the hockey league will start on Thursday with the matches of the 1st round match pairs. The semi-finals will start on Sunday 27 March.
In the 1st round of the hockey playoffs, the teams will face 7-10 in the regular season. In Thursday’s opening games, Lukko will host HPK and Pelicans will face KooKoon. On Friday, the decisive parts will be played in Hämeenlinna and Kouvola.
Unlike usual, matches in the first round of Playoffs can also lead to a tie. If the teams’ winnings after the actual playing time of the second round are equal, the so-called the third consecutive match in which the victory of the match series is decided. The follow-up match will be played against five to five, 20-minute split, cross-finish.
The semi-finals between the top eight teams will start on Sunday 27 March. They are played in the usual way with the best of seven system.
