This is how the midsummer weather will be – step by step

It won’t be 25-30 degrees on Midsummer’s Eve. The temperatures will be between 15-20 degrees and TV4’s meteorologist Caroline Andersson sends the message that an extra sweater or cardigan is not so stupid to bring to the celebration.

– In general, it looks like we will get some sun above all in Götaland, while it is a bit more cloudy in Svealand and Norrland, she says.

This is how the weather will be – step by step

But will it be sunny or rainy during the day? Caroline Andersson goes through the midsummer weather step by step.

Lunch (13.00)
– Around 1 p.m. people might start thinking about having lunch. Then it is the sun that dominates in Götaland. Some high veil clouds may lie in the middle parts of Götaland. In the southern parts of Svealand it looks like there is room for some sun. Then the clouds thicken in the northern parts of Svealand and then some rain in the mountains.

The Games (16.00)
– We move forward a couple of hours, until 4 p.m. It might be time to come up with some games or what you want to do. Here, some clouds are growing in Götaland, above all some high veil clouds that can get a little thicker at times. In the northern parts of Götaland, Svealand and also parts of southern Norrland, it looks like this cloud cover is beginning to loosen and here the sun may start to peek out during the afternoon.

Dinner (19.00)
– We skip until 19.00 approximately when you might start to feel like bringing out the grill. Then the cloud cover lifts in Götaland, Svealand and large parts of Norrland. Some clouds remain in the western parts of Norrland and in the northernmost parts of the country, and some rain continues in the mountains. It looks like the sun may peek out during the evening in large parts of the country.
