This is how parenthood has affected Ida and Arvid Stark’s relationship

Ida and Arvid Stark met for the first time at the altar in “Married at First Sight”.
Almost exactly a year later, daughter Rakel was born.
Now Ida tells how the relationship has been affected by parenthood.
– We are not newly in love and newly in love anymore, she says in Nyhetsmorgon.

Almost a year ago, they became the carbonara couple with all of Sweden. Back then Ida and Arvid Stark were newly in love and newly married – today they are parents of small children. In the last episode of “Married at First Sight”, we could see when the season’s participants reunited to share how things went for them, when Ida shows up heavily pregnant.

Daughter Rakel was born almost exactly one year after Ida and Arvid met at the altar and saw each other for the first time. Now Ida tells how parenthood has affected the relationship.

– It has affected the relationship a lot, of course. You really have to work to become a really strong team, a really strong team. It is clear that it is also stressful. We are no longer newly in love and newly in love, it has passed, says Ida when she is a guest on Nyhetsmorgon, after being named this year’s pep-mama at the Mama gala.

– But parenthood has also done a lot for us, she continues.

“Trying to work with wellness also for the relationship”

To work on their relationship, Ida and Arvid take help from others.

– We work very actively with our relationship, we participate in parcoaching and try to work with health care for the relationship as well. Especially if we know that it can be affected and also worn a little in connection with major life events, such as having a child, for example, says Ida.

Ida recommends other couples to do the same.

– It means so much to me as an individual and to us as a couple. Talking about things in a preventive way, and also getting the tools that you know you can pick up when you need them. It is a very good investment, I would say, she says.

– I try to actively think about this. Sometimes it falls flat, sometimes it works superbly.
