Saturday marks the start of Nobel Week Lights, a free festival of light, featuring brilliant works of art inspired by Nobel Prize-winning discoveries and efforts.
Already on Friday evening, the Nobel Foundation offered a taste test, at Stockholm City Hall.

During this year’s light festival, visitors can walk through an 80-meter long tunnel of light and sound, spin around in shining lotus flowers and see themselves towering in a sea of flowing light.

Nobel Week Lights lights up the light installations on December 7th and the festival runs until December 15th.

A total of sixteen works are on offer in Stockholm’s inner city. Both international and local artists participate as well as students from KTH Architecture and fifth graders from Husbygårdsskolan.
