This is how much money the participants get for being part of SVT’s Mästarnas mästara 2023

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

On a small island in Montenegro, 2023’s version of Master of Masters was filmed.

In this year’s edition competed Nils van der Poelskate, Jorgen Brinkcross country skis, Clara Svenssonboxing, Johan Wissmanathletics and Elina Öhmanscooter cross, in group one, where Svensson and Öhman were eliminated.

In group two, the viewers get to meet Andreas Bergwallbandy, Maria Gretzer, horse jumping, Anders Holmertzswimming, Jonna Adlerteggymnastics and Jens Byggmark, alpine.

The former elite athletes are pitted against each other in challenging daytime competitions. In the evenings, there are retrospectives of the participants’ successful careers, mixed with long dinners on the terrace.

But what do the former sports stars gain from competing in the Champions of Champions?

Clara Mannheimer, who is the executive producer of the program on SVT, does not want to give any exact sums of what the participants received for being part of the hit show, but answers as follows:

– Participants receive compensation. We cannot ask them to take time off from their regular assignments and work without compensation.

Do the participants receive different amounts of compensation?

– Those negotiations are done by the production company and we don’t comment on that, but everyone gets a compensation.
