This is how Melinda and E Types daughter are forced to

The wedding took place in Vadstena church where 300 guests got to witness when they said yes to each other. And you can at least say that it was full of celebrities then, among other things Carola Häggkvist, Dr. Alban, Christian “Kicken” Lundqvist and Sarah Dawn Finer was in place.

After the wedding, the bride and groom went by horse and carriage to Vadstena Castle, where the Viking-themed wedding party was held.

Someone who also attended the wedding in its full glory was the couple’s common daughter Isadora.

Life after the wedding has, to say the least, rolled on for the couple who often show glimpses of their everyday life on social media.

But as Melinda said earlier, she believes that it is important not only to show the positive in life but also when you are faced with adversity in life, which the couple certainly did a couple of weeks ago.

E-Type and Melinda’s daughter swallowed battery

It was on Tuesday that Melinda and Martin, after discussing the whole thing, chose to publish a picture of their daughter in a respirator. What had happened was that two weeks ago Izadora swallowed a button cell battery.

“When the battery ends up in the esophagus or down into the stomach, the intestinal tract, an electrical current circuit is formed. This causes it to corrode the organs and a serious burn occurs. If it burns a hole, it is life-threatening. As soon as the battery reaches the mucous membrane, damage begins to occur. The Medical Corps has warned these batteries are in every home and are life-threatening for children. Our daughter is not the first nor the last to be affected. We really thought we had secured our home, but this just can’t happen,” Melinda wrote in the post.

“We have landed in that if it can prevent more children from being affected, it is worth it. The picture is now 2 weeks old. Izadora is still being treated in hospital but the situation is now stable,” she continues.
After the post, comments have poured in with love for the family and many thank Melinda for spreading awareness of what can happen. She therefore went out with another message thanking the followers and giving a further update.

“The battery caused a severe corrosion/burn to Izadora’s esophagus. The esophagus must be allowed to heal and not a single drop must pass. Breastfeeding has been very central to Izadora’s life. She breastfeeds several times a day and half the night. Having to deny her the breast when she has been so incredibly ill and really needed what has been extremely difficult for both of us,” she begins.

“So many times during this illness, I really thought my heart was going to break. First of all, from worry, but also from the feeling of not being able to comfort,” she concludes.

In other words, Izadora has not been able to eat or drink normally but will be restored.
