A 59-year-old man was working underground on a maintenance job inside a crusher and fell from a scaffolding. However, it was a fall of less than one meter.
The crusher was shut down at the time and it is not clear what caused the death.
– We do not want to go into any details and now a police investigation is underway. LKAB and the Work Environment Agency will also investigate the incident, says Anders Lindberg, press manager at LKAB.
