Lehkonen already scored his fourteenth goal of the season when the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Winnipeg Jets 5–2.
Lehkonen, who completed a hat trick in his previous match, scored his goal already in the opening set by guiding Josh Manson’s line shot into the net. Lehkonen showed his strength and skill, as he was about to fall as a result of a transverse racket just before his control.
The Winnipeg Jets got into the game in the second inning when Rasmus Kupari scored his third hit of the season at the end of a superior attack from the corner of the goal.
The Jets countered the Avalanche’s hit one more time, but in the final set Casey Mittelstadt brought Colorado already the fifth consecutive victory. Mikko Rantanen was allowed to improve his goal statistics for the season to an empty net. The hit was the 21st of the season.
Hintz hit, ending Buffalo’s streak
The Buffalo Sabres’ winning streak was ended when the Dallas Stars took the points with a score of 4–2. Roope Hintz passed the Finnish keeper Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for the first time only in the middle of the match.
The goal was Hintz’s 16th of the season. The most powerful mob in Dallas Jason Robertsonwho passed Hintz’s hit and made a total of 1+2 points. Esa Lindell got to finish his third hit of the season into an empty net.
Kotkaniemi’s goal was not enough
Sebastian Ahon and Jesperi Kotkaniemi the power was not enough when the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Carolina Hurricanes in the winning goal race 4–3.
Aho initiated two of his team’s hits. Jesperi Kotkaniemi already took his team to a 3–2 lead in the second set, but Columbus struggled to equalize in the third set. The winning goal race was decided Adam Fantilli.
