“This is a fucking disaster”

The makeup artist and Youtube profile Margaret Grääs30, made a haul where she tried on several dresses from Petra Tungårdens clothing brand Adoore.

The brand is something of a favorite with influencers, and Swedish profiles such as Lojsan Wallin, Kenza and many more.

Margareta says that she has heard before that there will be no chance that any of the clothes would fit her.

All the dresses she bought from Adoore are size 50, and she usually wears size 46 and 54, depending on the brand.

Margareta has tested clothes from several influencer brands, such as Bianca Ingrosso clothing brand Avora, Matilda Djerfs Djerf Avenue and Linn Ahlborgs brand LXA.

Margareta thinks the dresses are incredibly nice, but she is doubtful whether a size 50 in Adoore is really a size 50.

– This is a hell of a disaster. I couldn’t imagine it would be this bad. What a damn disappointment, says Margareta Grääs after trying on one of their dresses in size 50.

Margareta rather thinks that it looks like the dress is a size 42. Margareta Grääs continues to try on the dresses and it turns out that none of the dresses work.

– This is the worst disaster I have experienced in my life. What the hell is this, says Margareta who is really shocked at how the brand has set its sizes.

In comparison to brands such as H&M, Monki and Uniqlo, Margareta believes that Adoore’s dresses are rather size 42 than 50.

Several customers share Margareta Grää’s experience of Adoore’s sizes

When Blog Watch drew attention to Margareta’s video, there were several readers who wrote in the comments section that they too felt that Adoore’s sizes are strange.

Some reactions to Blog Monitoring read:

“I feel that adoore has extremely small sizes, even if you are, for example, S and M as well. I have always had to go up a size and still think they fit like sausage skin.”

“I’m a size 42 and barely fit Adoore’s size 48. Got such DAMN body anxiety when a 48 didn’t fit, that I “should have ordered a size 50″ which made my body image spin completely, because I never had to order larger than 44 (and that in a way it has been hard enough). If their ambition is to be inclusive and size friendly, the result is the exact opposite. However, I want to say that watching Maggan’s video/reading that it is so makes me feel a little better many who experienced the same”

“I agree with her, of course there is a size chart, but it shouldn’t be this off!”

“So good she made this video. Normally a 36a/38a or 40 in almost all clothes. Bought a dress from Adoore in size 42 and could hardly breathe in it. so tight around the waist, while the arms on the contrary were too long. . cool fit!”
