This ingenious technique will save you a lot of trouble with your cell phone. don’t deprive yourself of it, especially since it is both simple and economical!

With their many functions, smartphones have become essential in our lives. But they have a major recurring flaw: they quickly accumulate dust and dirt in their little nooks and crannies, particularly in their audio jack and their charging port (USB or Lightning). However, over time, these tiny particles clump together and can end up blocking these openings and even preventing proper charging, as the plug no longer ensures good electrical contacts. In addition, prolonged accumulation of dirt can cause internal damage , reduce the performance of the device and cause malfunctions.

It is therefore essential to keep your phone clean to ensure its proper functioning by carrying out a small cleaning regularly. Fortunately, there is a surprisingly simple and very economical solution to this problem: it involves using… a straw!

To use it, take a simple plastic or other straw. Then take a plastic bottle and cut off its top with a cutter or other sharp tool. You must keep the cork as well as five centimeters from the part where the cork is, to obtain a sort of funnel. Make a small hole in the cap, the size of your straw. This hole will be the entrance to your straw. Then insert the straw into this opening then fix it: use a good glue for this, or, better yet, a glue gun, making sure that it remains securely in place. Then wait until the glue has had time to dry.

You are now ready to clean your mobile phone. Take a vacuum cleaner and put the vacuum tip on the other side of the clog. Turn on your vacuum and bring the straw close to the charging port and speakers. Be sure to keep the suction tip as close as possible to the clog part. This will make it easier to remove dust and dirt from even the most difficult to reach areas. And if your vacuum cleaner has a power variator, adjust it to modulate the suction force.

This tip is not only effective: it is also very economical because you can save your straw for future use. So the next time your phone needs cleaning, you won’t need to invest in expensive cleaning products or an air can – just bring out your straw system and vacuum to do a little cleaning!
