Often hidden among signaling tools and electrical wires, a small device has been designed for this type of emergency and will allow you to get back on the road without incident. When you open the trunk of your car, look for a small pull tab or hanging wire, most often located near the side where the gas tank is located. This wire is directly connected to the fuel door opening mechanism. So, in the event of a blockage, pulling on this cable allows you to manually unlock the mechanism, allowing you to refuel and avoid getting stuck in the countryside or on a deserted highway area.
