While countries are fighting fiercely in the space race, especially the USA and China are making a name for themselves with the studies carried out. Now, the space report of both countries last year is on the agenda.
CHINA IS FIRST IN THIS AREA
According to the report published by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), 55 launches were made into space last year. With the launches in which 103 vehicles were launched into space, China ranked first in the world in this field.
A total of 191.19 tons of payload was carried into space during the launches.
USA AT THE TOP OF WEIGHT
The United States took the first place in terms of weight, bringing a load of 403.34 tons into space in 51 launches.
2021 DETAIL! SINCE 1957…
Last year, 1846 vehicles were launched into space in a total of 146 launches worldwide. This was the year with the most launches since 1957.
In a statement, CASC Deputy Director Ma Tao stated that China plans to organize 6 manned expeditions in 2022 to complete the space station established in Earth orbit.
