Jasmine Dewhurst, a university student living in Liverpool, was blinded by her love of beauty. The body of the young girl who had false eyelashes applied in a beauty center was temporarily blinded due to an allergic reaction.
The young girl had a severe allergic reaction to the glue used for false eyelashes and noticed that she started to experience strangeness in the bottom of her eyelashes. Saying that she went there on the recommendation of her friend, Jasmine Dewhurst states that the beautician did not give any warnings before the eyelash extension and did not mention the need for an allergy test.
HE HAD TO REMOVE HIS EYELASHES
Stating that she had false eyelashes applied because she wanted a fuller eyelash look, the young girl expresses that she was not satisfied with the procedure performed there. In the procedure, he applied a process that would cause the bottom eyelashes and the bottom of the upper eyelashes to stick together. Although he did not show this reaction at first, he encountered this situation in a way he never expected in the following days.
Jasmine says that when she looks in the mirror after the application, she doesn’t like it at all, that she had to remove some of her natural eyelashes when she got into the car because there were more eyelashes than she expected.
After this incident, Jasmine said that although she continued her life normally for about a week, she gradually started to feel burning, itching and watering in her eyes. When she woke up one morning, she realized that she could not open her eyes at all. When he realized that his eyes were completely closed, he began to panic.
“I LIVED TEMPORARY BLIND”
He noticed that the glue used on the bottom of the eyelashes closed all his eyes and completely glued the eyelids. He tried treatments like salt water, but it didn’t work, and then he started to feel more panic. For this reason, the young woman, who was temporarily blind, visited her doctor.
The young woman, who proceeded with the advice of her doctor, explained that she had a very intense allergic reaction and therefore could not get rid of the effect for a long time, even though she used many drugs such as creams and eye drops.
“NEVER DONE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE”
Jasmine, who said that she could never predict that she would encounter such a thing when she wanted to have her eyelashes fitted, stated that although she thought it was just a simple itching at first, it was actually a very painful and fearful experience.
The effect of the adhesive was so intense that despite the eyelash remover serum he used, all of them could not be removed for about a month. He states that the level of irritation still hasn’t improved, he still has swollen and itchy eyes. He had also lost most of his eyelashes. The young woman, who is still going through an intense recovery process, hopes that her eyelashes can grow back in the same way in the future.
While Jasmine considers herself lucky that she didn’t completely lose her eyesight, she warns other people that they shouldn’t do these procedures until they’ve had allergy tests and are really sure.
