With these apps you can earn some money every day.
They are used more and more. Several applications that have emerged in recent years allow you to earn money without having to spend anything first. Some of them even boast of having saved their users several million euros since their launch. Anyone can raise nice sums by, for example, throwing away their trash, walking in the street, or getting on their bike!
How is this possible? It’s simple: these applications reward their subscribers when they accomplish certain virtuous tasks or objectives for their health or the environment. In particular, they combine ecology and financial gain. This is the case of the application Wetri“the app that transforms your waste into currency”, which promotes recycling at collection points or even Trashback which encourages people to pick up trash left in nature.
An even simpler, daily action can also save you money: walking. With the app WeWardthe more you walk the more “Wards” you collect. Once you have collected a certain number of Wards, you can convert them into euros and send the amount obtained to your account. To encourage users, the application even offers challenges to complete, which earn a little more. According to the application managers, people walk 24% more than usual when using WeWard, an approach that is good for the environment and health.
The app Vasy defends the same concept by taking into account journeys on foot, but also those by bike or with a scooter, a skateboard, rollerblades… The points earned can be exchanged for “exclusive advantages in local shops or cards gifts valid in major brands. Moovance looks even broader and rewards all journeys based on the CO2 emissions avoided, this therefore also includes public transport or carpooling.
For what gain? Don’t expect to win a fortune, but it’s better than nothing. On Moovance, the average income of a person who goes to work by bike would be 20 euros in four months. For walking on Weward, you can earn up to 25 Wards per day, which translates to approximately 20,000 steps. One Ward represents 0.007 euros, which makes a maximum of around sixty euros per year. Your earnings can increase by completing challenges or watching advertising videos. At the end of 2023, WeWard announced that it had distributed 10 million euros to its users’ accounts since its launch in 2019.
