Since 2015, spectators have fallen under the spell of Vice versa, a film from Pixar Studios, which studies the complexity of a child’s emotions through characters (Joy, Fear, Sadness, Anger, Disgust). A true critical and public success, it won the Oscar for best animated film the year following its release. Unsurprisingly, the sequel, in theaters since Wednesday, was extremely anticipated by the public.

This is the second best start for a Pixar production in France (behind The Incredibles 2) and better than the first Vice versa (121,556 entries at the same time).

But word of mouth allowed A little something extra to be a lasting success at the French box office and to reach, to date, 7 million admissions. The excitement around the film is in any case very real, since, according to Box office Mojo, Vice versa 2 has already grossed more than $379 million at the worldwide box office in just a few days.
