This Edmonton star Leon Draisaitls playoff balance is completely cheekless

The Edmonton Oilers evened the wins to 2-2 against the Los Angeles Kings when Zach Hyman surprised Joonas Korpisalo in overtime.

Finnish time, the last game of the NHL playoff round, which started on Sunday evening, turned into a thrilling thriller. The match between the Los Angeles Kings and the Edmonton Oilers went into overtime tied at 4-4.

The first overtime had been played at 10:39, when Edmonton’s Zach Hyman surprised the Kings’ Finnish guard Joonas Korpisalo after receiving an excellent opening defender From Evan Bouchard. Edmonton tied the wins at 2–2.

– It was a great through pass and it turned out to be an A-class goal. It was probably the most important goal of my career, Hyman rejoiced.

The Kings had already run away to a 3–0 lead in the opening set when they succeeded in scoring Gabriel Vilardi, Viktor Arvidsson and Anze Kopitar.

At the first timeout, Edmonton changed goalkeepers, and Stuart Skinner was allowed to make room To Jack Campbell. Then began Edmonton’s streak, led less surprisingly by the “two-headed monster” Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

First, the duo passed defender Bouchard’s 1-3 reduction with superiority. Then Draisaitl made a 2-3 off McDavid’s pass. With 11 seconds left in the second period, Draisaitl tied the game.

“I think all play-offs are big tests, but this one was massive for our team. I think we responded well (to the Kings’ lead in the opening set), Draisaitl said.

Matt Roy put the Kings ahead again in the third set, but Evander Kane equalized in 56:58 from McDavid’s pass.

Draisaitl rose to the top of the playoff points market, 5+4=9 in four games. The next hardest hit by eight power points is Dallas Roope Hintz and Toronto Mitchell Marner.

From Edmonton, Bouchard has seven points and McDavid has six. McDavid passed Korpisalo twice in the previous game, but then the Kings won 3–2.

Draisaitl has now scored multiple power points in 20 career playoff games, after playing in 41 of them. Only Wayne Gretzky and Sidney Crosby have achieved the feat in fewer games in NHL history.

Draisaitl has already played 14 games with at least three power points in the playoffs, while he has gone scoreless only 13 times.

However, perhaps Huim’s 27-year-old German forward’s balance is this: Draisaitl has been on the ice for each of the Oilers’ 14 playoff goals against the Kings.

Next in the statistics are Dallas’ Roope Hintz and Miro HeiskanenMcDavid and Carolina’s defender Brent Burns. They’ve been on the ice for ten of their team’s hits in these playoffs.

However, four goals have been scored against Draisaitl, five against Burns and six against McDavid, while Hintz and Heiskanen have only been on the ice during two opponents’ goals.

In the playoff series between the Kings and the Oilers, 27 goals have been scored in four games. Three of the matches have gone to extra time. The first match was decided by Kings in overtime Alex Iafallo. Edmonton then won 4–2. The third match was decided by the Kings in overtime Trevor Moore. Now it was Edmonton’s turn to celebrate in the overtime as well.
