Andrea B. contacted the manufacturer Recaro with an unusual story. Accordingly, his new gaming chair “Recaro Exo” saved his life – or at least avoided serious injuries.
B. wrote to the company:
Five weeks ago, a large ceiling panel came loose in my study and fell on me during a video conference. Luckily the slab fell on the top edge of the chair first […] smashed there and only in small parts bounced on or next to me.
According to the man, the said ceiling panel weighed a good 30 kilos. If the massive slab had landed unchecked on the man’s head or neck, severe injuries could not have been ruled out.
Andrea B. goes even further: “This chair may have saved my life or saved me from a long hospital stay.”

Andrea B. and the chair survived the whole campaign safely. However, the manufacturer sent B. a replacement chair because the seat suffered minor damage.
