The recalled product, parents concerned can have it replaced free of charge by a new version, the Baby Safe 5Z2. “Your new product will be the same color and fabric as your old one. The BABY-SAFE 5Z2 handle has been tested at our component center in Leipheim, Germany and is safe and does not have this potential problem” reassures the manufacturer.

Check the product name on the orange label located under the shell. If there is a “2” after BABY-SAFE 5Z, the product is not affected by this recall.
