This bad habit when cleaning the kitchen is a big mistake… and almost everyone does it!

This bad habit when cleaning the kitchen is a big

When it comes to cleaning the kitchen, a strategic room in the house, there are a few rules to follow. A common mistake in particular is to be avoided.

When it comes to cleaning, everyone has their own opinion, organization or favorite cleaning product. However, there are certain rules to follow. Some apply everywhere: declutter before cleaning, dust the furniture before vacuuming… Others are to be followed scrupulously, especially in a room where hygiene must be impeccable: the kitchen.

In this room so popular with the French, the biggest mistake is to only clean and forget to disinfect. There is, however, a difference between the two. Cleaning allows you to shine the countertop, sink, hob, remove stains, etc. Disinfecting will allow you to kill bacteria, germs and viruses.

White vinegar is good but it is not a magic product for all that!

However, very often, the product you are going to use cleans and does not disinfect. This is the case of White vinegar, particularly highlighted in recent years for its economic and ecological rendering. Please note that this is not a disinfectant. If it will clean the different surfaces and sanitize them, it will not get rid of germs, viruses and bacteria in your kitchen. It is important to do both.

Conversely, household alcohol will allow you to disinfect well. Good news, it is also a very good degreaser and stain remover, it is perfect for kitchen maintenance! Little bonus “tip”: among other common mistakes, we note that of using the same sponge for washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen, not changing your sponge regularly enough or mixing certain cleaning products. Indeed, certain mixtures are to be avoided and can even be dangerous. One rule to remember: never mix bleach with another product.
