Is your skin showing nasty, unsightly pimples? This new cleansing gel sold all over the world seems to work miracles. Explanations.
Contrary to popular belief, acne does not only affect adolescents. At 20, 30 or 40 years old, it is possible to see ugly red spots appear on your face. A scourge that can only be resolved through a healthy lifestyle… and an appropriate skincare routine. Exfoliation, hydration, protection… without forgetting a good skin cleansing. However, a purifying and cleansing gel would seem to stand out on pharmacy shelves…
A cleansing and purifying gel, suitable for sensitive skin
This gel is the “Isispharma acne-prone skin cleansing gel”.
Ideal for combination to oily skin and formulated without keratolytic agents, it combines 5 key active ingredients:
- Avocado oil, which regulates excess sebum.
- Boswellia extract, glucose, natural xylitol and propolis, which soothe and hydrate.
- Zinc salt, which limits bacterial proliferation.
Versatile and dermatologically tested, this gel can be used on the face, back and/or décolleté.
“It is also suitable for sensitive skin weakened by various treatments and prone to imperfections.“, reveals the brand on its site.
Concretely, it eliminates impurities, reduces excess sebum and smoothes skin texture, provided it is used daily.
Simply apply it morning and evening.
After placing a small amount of product on your skin, “massage gently then rinse“, advises the brand.
Be careful, however, to always test the product on a small area of skin before using it. Indeed, each person can react differently to the composition of a product.
For example, people allergic to products derived from bees, such as honey or royal jelly, should avoid propolis (a mixture of plant matter, wax and bee saliva), as it can trigger severe allergic reactions, ranging from simple irritations to anaphylactic reactions.
Boswellia extract, often used for its anti-inflammatory properties, also has certain contraindications (not recommended for pregnant women…).
