But before preparing your cleaning solution, remember that the effectiveness of your cleaning does not only lie in the product used but also in the technique applied: always clean in sections, from top to bottom, and dry quickly to avoid the formation of new traces.
Why is black tea really effective? In addition to being a popular drink, it has amazing cleansing properties. The high tannin content of black tea gives it degreasing and cleaning capabilities that help dissolve dirt and greasy residue on glass surfaces. Additionally, black tea leaves a natural shine on the glass, contributing to a streak-free finish.
How to clean your windows with black tea? You will need 2 black tea bags, 500ml of hot water, 1-2 drops of dishwashing liquid, a spray bottle and a microfiber cloth. Infuse the two tea bags in 500ml of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes to obtain a well concentrated solution. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
Pour the cooled tea into a spray bottle and add one to two drops of dishwashing liquid. Be careful not to use too much, as an excessive amount of dishwashing liquid can leave streaks. Mix gently to avoid excessive foaming.
