Villa Lidköping won its third straight SM final after Tilda Ström had an all-nighter at Studenternas elljus. She scored five goals when Västerås was defeated 8-1 in a one-sided final.
– It feels great. I hadn’t expected anything, but it was nice to have an early goal, says Ström.
The Villa players took to the ice with the gold helmets and celebrated in a heap.
– It is absolutely incredible. It was big numbers, but I don’t care which one, says Sanna Gustafsson to SVT Sport.
Tomorrow, the men’s team will play the SC final.
