Two men, aged 22 and 33 respectively, have been in custody for a while.
It was just before four o’clock on the night of Thursday that the police were alerted to a loud bang in Fullerö by Storvreta outside Uppsala.
The explosion had taken place in a detached two-storey house in a residential area. Two houses were heavily damaged and three other houses were also damaged. The facades of the two worst affected houses, which are next to each other, were blown away. Several windows were blown out.
