SMHI issues new yellow warnings for heavy snowfall in several parts of the country.

Among other things, a yellow warning has been issued in large parts of Götaland, southernmost Svealand and Gotland where there may be snowfall in combination with wind.

Boy sentenced for murder plans – wanted to be liked by the “Kurdish Fox”

A 16-year-old boy is sentenced for preparation for murder by the Malmö district court. It was in September that the 16-year-old was stopped on an Öresund train together with his friend, a 14-year-old boy, after a woman alerted the police. The woman had then reacted to the boys talking about “stashing it in the forest”.

When the train rolled into Malmö central, the boys were checked and stopped by the police.

Now the 16-year-old is sentenced to one year of youth supervision for preparation for murder. The boy has stated in questioning that he was looking for money and respect. “He wanted the Kurdish fox to like him,” the verdict says.

At the same time, it is stated in the judgment that the 16-year-old suffers from a mild intellectual disability. The district court then believes that the boy “in a cynical way has been exploited by older criminals”.

In the 14-year-old’s case, an evidentiary action was brought as he was too young to be prosecuted. The district court determines in its verdict that the boy has committed the crime of preparation for murder.

According to the verdict, the boys had intended to carry out the deed, to shoot a person who was not identified in the investigation.

In front of “Islamist” school plan in Syria

Anger and anxiety are spreading in Syria after the new Islamist regime announces a new school curriculum with a stricter Muslim interpretation of the world, reports CNN.

Among other things, education about evolution and other religions is deleted from the course literature. Jews and Christians are described as having “gone astray” from the true faith.

Critics call the school plan “Islamist”.

After rebels toppled dictator Bashar al-Assad, led by terrorist-designated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, there has been concern about what will happen to the country’s religious and ethnic minorities.

The change in the school curriculum is seen as a sign that Syria is moving towards becoming the Islamist state formation many fear.

The changes apply to all children between the ages of 6 and 18.
