Martijn van den Berg discovered this morning that something was wrong with his car. “I wanted to go to work, but my Lexus wouldn’t start. I thought: it’s cold, so the battery must be flat. A little later my girlfriend wanted to start her Toyota, but it sounded like an army vehicle. Then when we got under the looked at the car, we saw the bolts. I thought: that’s not very good.” The catalytic converter was also found to have disappeared from the neighbor’s car.
