It was in the municipality of Östersund that the 49-year-old woman broke into the 87-year-old lady’s house, according to Home&rent. The pensioner was in the shower when the door rang, and when she opened it she was met by the thief, who asked if the lady had grog wood at home.
The woman then put the 87-year-old into a cupboard and forced her way into the apartment. Once inside, she made her way to the kitchen to empty the lady’s refrigerator.

According to the 87-year-old, the thief took bottles of sparkling wine, groceries and even morphine patches that she kept in the refrigerator. The lady dragged the thief by the hair until she left the apartment, but the woman still managed to get the things she took from the fridge.

The thief was caught by the police the same day, and has been in custody since then. In the Östersund district court, she was recently sentenced to one year in prison and 10,000 in damages to the lady.
She is also convicted of molestation, because she also spat in a man’s face in a restaurant in the summer of 2023. To him she must pay 8,000 in damages.
The woman has previously been convicted of theft and trespassing.
