A routine case for the police in Manhattan ended with a burglar caught red-handed – at the home of world star Robert De Niro.
The incident happened at two o’clock in the morning while De Niro was sleeping, and when the police arrested the woman, she was in the process of putting the clappers under the tree and putting them in a sack.
The inverted Santa deed was discovered because the police had previously been on the lookout for the woman, who had committed a series of other burglaries in the recent past.
De Niro himself has said that he is fine, while a spokesperson for the acting legend said that De Niro is renting the apartment temporarily.
