They were playing with explosives in Kalix – set free: “Not thinking it was criminal”

It was on Thursday that the explosives were discovered after a police raid’s home with the man in Kalix. He is now suspected of violating the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.

Prosecutor Jonas Fjällström says that the man has acknowledged and that he is now released.

– It is his personal circumstances that do not have to be detained, says Fjellström.

Fjellström also emphasizes that there is nothing to indicate that he must have transferred explosives to others.

– He must have produced explosives, no amounts, for his own use.

The man himself has posted movie clips on social media when he turns on explosives both indoors and outdoors.
