After the Bayraktar TB2, Akıncı and Aksungur armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SİHA), Kyrgyzstan has finally added Anka SİHA to its inventory. Dayırbek Orunbekov, Head of the Press Service of the Presidency of Kyrgyzstan, said in a statement on his social media account that the premiums that civil servants receive every quarter were temporarily suspended at the end of last year, and that the money saved here is used for the security of the country.
THEY INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES
Stating that great importance was attached to the armed forces and security after the armed conflicts on the Tajikistan border in September last year, Orunbekov said, “The bonus given to civil servants contributes to strengthening the security of our state. Until today, modern military equipment such as ‘Bayraktar’, ‘Aksungur’, ‘Akıncı’, ‘Anka’ have been purchased, some of them have arrived in Kyrgyzstan,” he said.
FIRST BROUGHT IN 2021
Head of the State National Security Committee Kamchibek Tasiyev announced that Bayraktar SİHAs were built for Kyrgyzstan in October 2021, and the SİHAs were delivered in December of the same year. In his social media posts in October and November last year, Taşiyev announced that Akıncı and Aksungur are now Kyrgyzstan.
With Orunbekov’s statement, Kyrgyzstan has procured all SİHAs produced by TAI and Baykar. (UAV)
