They want to redraw the map of the United States – to become part of Idaho

– It is clear that the two areas do not belong together politically, geographically, economically, socially and culturally, says Matt McCaw, spokesperson for the Greater Idaho movement.

– We border a conservative state, like ours, so it is easy to move.

When Matt McCaw came up with the idea to redraw the American map, many laughed. But now, a few years later, 11 of 15 regions in eastern Oregon have voted to investigate or begin the process of changing states. A twelfth referendum will be held shortly.
