The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that the Ukrainian intelligence was preparing for a possible radioactive provocation in Kharkov.
In the statement made by the ministry, it was claimed that the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) and the Azov battalion planned to blow up the reactor at an experimental nuclear facility located at the Institute of Physics and Technology in Kharkov, where clashes were taking place between Russian military units and Ukrainian forces.
“The Russian Armed Forces will be accused of allegedly carrying out a missile attack on an experimental nuclear facility,” the statement said.
