A BOMB EXPLODED NEAR THE MOSQUE
According to the news in the Dawn newspaper, a bomb was detonated in the area where citizens gathered for Mawlid Kandili near a mosque in the Mastung region of Balochistan.
In the terrorist bomb attack, 34 people, including a police officer, lost their lives and more than 130 people were injured.
Many ambulances and search and rescue teams were sent to the explosion area.
IT IS THOUGHT TO BE A SUICIDE ATTACK
Authorities are considering the possibility that the incident may have been a suicide attack.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Interim government Prime Minister Anvarul Hak Kakar condemned the attack in his statement on his social media account.
