The former nursing home and hostel in Jörn, were fire -raised over fifteen years ago. The building has become a notorious place among young people, such as a scary ghost house.
Last year, things started to happen in the building. A man had started selling parts of Jörnsgården as a luxury hotel, with a promise of residence permit to foreign buyers.
After SVT revealed the illegal business, the building has once again become silent as the grave.
The municipality has tried in vain to reach the foreign partners to carry out a demolition. The chair of the Building and Environment Committee has now decided to set a fence around the building and prohibit all use of it.
