The Green Party’s Per Bolund criticized the other parties in the Riksdag for not taking the climate crisis seriously when he spoke on Saturday in central Stockholm.

– We have all seen the heat waves this summer with the worst drought in 500 years hitting our continent. We know that if we don’t do something about the climate crisis, it will get even worse, says the spokesperson.

– So what do the political parties do? Well, they go to the polls to make it even cheaper to release fossil fuels.

Only the Green Party listens properly to science, according to Bolund.

– It is completely senseless that we still have to take this fight against seven other parties that go in the other direction, he says.

The MP leader also warned that the “blue-brown bloc increases the difference between people” and builds “its politics on fear”.
