The Book Fair by Night club concept was arranged for the first time last year during the Book Fair in Gothenburg. The concept is a combination of bar hangings and cultural experiences and will also return at this year’s book fair, according to a press release.
Among the program items are stand-up with Judy Gold and Melody Farshin, live criticism with critics Mikaela Blomqvist, Jesper Högström and Valerie Kyeyune Backström, live podcasting of Flora Wiström’s “Röda rummet” and “Det skaver” with Cassandra Klatzkow, Elsa Ekman and Nadia Kandil and a performance with DJ -the duo Rebecca and Fiona.
During the program item Strage’s scene, music journalist Fredrik Strage will interview artists such as Bob hund, Fricky and Mapei.
Authors participating in the Book Fair by Night are Jonas Hassen Khemiri, Elis Monteverde Burrau and Agneta Pleijel.
The Gothenburg book fair runs from September 28 to October 1.
