As a result of the investigations carried out by Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorate and Çifteler District Gendarmerie Command teams, it was determined that the suspect residing in the center of Eskişehir added flavoring and industrial dye to the cheap palm, cotton, soy and similar vegetable oils they procured from the market. Information was obtained that it produced fake olive oil and put it on the market by printing fake and imitation brands.
250 LITERS OF FAKE OLIVE OIL WERE SEIZED
During the road control carried out together with Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command KOM Branch Directorate, Çifteler District Gendarmerie Command and Provincial Agriculture/Forestry Directorate teams, 250 liters of fake olive oil were seized in the suspect’s vehicle. An administrative sanction was imposed on the suspect by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture/Forestry teams.
MARKET VALUE 150 THOUSAND TL
During the investigations, it was understood that the market value of the seized materials was 150 thousand TL. An investigation was launched against the suspect by the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. (UAV)
