Together with her husband Tom, Linda Båge Hemmestad has collected Christmas presents for families via the association Secret Santa, at Christmas time for eight years. As the association became better known – more people came forward to get help.
– I am impressed by the people who get in touch because they need help. It takes courage to do that, she says.
How many Christmas presents do you receive?
– Difficult question, but we receive enough pats for all the children to get a few pats each.
“Feels good”
Daughter Alice Båge Hemmestad, 10 years old, is used to helping with the collection.
– I receive Christmas presents and give them to those who work here.
What do you think about this?
– It feels good to give Christmas presents to children.
