The MEP and former Minister of Culture and Democracy (from 2014-2019) in Stefan Löfven’s first government is a potential successor to Märta Stenevi.
Alice Bah Kuhnke grew up in Värnamo and studied political science at Stockholm University. She became an environmentalist in 2014, three days before she became a minister.

Another name on the list is Amanda Lind. She is a Member of Parliament for the Green Party and chairs the cultural committees.
Between 2019 and 2021 she was minister of culture, and between 2016 and 2019 party secretary. She grew up in Luleå and has studied the psychology program at Umeå University.

Janine Alm Ericson is a Member of Parliament in the Finance Committee and spokesperson for aid and equality. She began her political career as a recreational politician in Alingsås and entered the Riksdag in 2014.
She has run for spokesperson once before, in 2021 to succeed Isabella Lövin, but she withdrew her candidacy when Märta Stenevi was proposed.
