They are working around the clock to restore electricity in Ukraine

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

SVT’s Ukraine correspondent Bengt Norborg and photographer Pablo Torres are in Kyiv and have met a team of electrical repairmen who work day and night to restore electricity to the city’s citizens.

It is not only the power lines that have been fired upon by Russia that have stopped working, but even those that are not hit can be knocked out due to overloading.

There are about 30 work teams in Kyiv that work non-stop, says Yurii Herasko, who is the supervisor of one of the teams, and adds:

We get to rest after the war.
