According to the investigation, it starts with a shell. Then the 28-year-old continues the assault against a 35-year-old man at Knutpunkten on the second of December last year.
-They take the same train from the north and arrive at Helsingborg C. At the escalator, the plaintiff asks the 28-year-old to pass and in connection with it, the 28-year-old asks a knife and chops, says Chamber Prosecutor Cecilia Bengtsson.
Prosecutor: The public intervenes
The prosecutor believes that the 28-year-old’s actions were associated with the danger of life for the 35-year-old because several of the stabbed were directed at his chest and its internal organs.
But he quickly gets help from fellow travelers.
– The public intervenes and the attack ends, says Cecilia Bengtsson.
An important part of the prosecutor’s evidence is that the assault took place at Knutpunkten. Several surveillance cameras capture the course of events, while most commuters are witnessing the assault.
Getting into Kebabrestaurang
After the attack, the suspect flees to a kebab restaurant where he steps in bloody with a knife in his hand and – eating.
– We have witnesses who tell him that he is in there and gets food. They perceive him as confused. He has told us about a brawl and shows a knife and blood on his hands, says Cecilia Bengtsson.
The 28-year-old who denies attempts at murder is now being charged at Helsingborg District Court.
During the spring last year, the man was admitted to psychiatric inpatient care. But in June, the Administrative Court decided that he would be cared for in open psychiatric compulsory care.
