The request: Check the tax bill
It is the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet that explains that a record number in the neighboring country has controlled its tax card, what we call a tax bill. But despite that, many people are still dragging. Therefore, a call is now being addressed to the neighbors in Norway:
– There are still many who should check their tax cards. The information in the tax card determines how much tax you will need to deduct during 2025. She describes that it is admittedly positive that so many have already controlled their tax bill and found out the tax deduction for 2025, but that more people should take a look.
– If you have recently retired, paid off on the loan and received lower interest costs, started renting out a home, or had changes in your income, it is not certain that it has been included in the tax card, she tells Dagbladet.
The reason why Norway’s population is encouraged to control the tax bill is to avoid receiving residual tax by 2026.
