[Mis à jour le 2 février 2022 à 20h55] Season 17 of Grey’s Anatomy resumed on January 26 with a surprise for fans: the return of Derek, who appears in a dream, while Meredith suffers from a coronavirus infection. In episode 4, broadcast on TF1 this Wednesday, February 2, 2022, a deceased former character from the medical series also returns during a particularly moving sequence: this is George O’Malley, played by the actor TR Knight.
Derek and George aren’t the only ones returning to Grey’s Anatomy for this season 17. In the next episodes, Lexie Gray and Mark Sloan will be back for a stealthy appearance. April will also return for a long-awaited reunion with Jackson. If these fan-favorite characters from Grey’s Anatomy make a welcome (but lightning) return, an actor will leave the series during this season 17: Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) has decided to devote himself to his career as a director.

Synopsis – Grey’s Anatomy tells the daily life of interns and doctors who start at Seattle Grace Hospital. Behind the patients and the multiple operations, there are also hidden dramas, friendships and sentimental hodgepodge. Meredith, Cristina, Alex, George and Izzie are medical students. Today they are starting their internship at Seattle Grace Hospital, a nationally renowned hospital. The apprentices are headed by Miranda Bailey, a brilliant surgeon whom they nickname “the tyrant”. They will have to work for seven long years in order to obtain their specialty.
On her first day, Meredith bumps into Derek Shepherd, a brilliant neurosurgeon who reminds her of the man she just spent the night with. Stunned, the young woman will have to make the difference between her professional and emotional life. Fortunately, Meredith will be able to count on her new best friend, Cristina. If the latter is overflowing with ambition and already imagines herself a cardiologist, she is also faithful in friendship. For his part, Alex is little appreciated by his colleagues. Very arrogant, he will have to make his hole. As for Izzie and George, they will stick together to succeed.
