While Givenchy’s “Shark Lock” boots are all the rage with influencers on TikTok, Zara has reinterpreted this model in a much cheaper version.
Don’t yet know which boots to wear this fall? Good news ! Zara has created, or rather revisited, a pair that should enhance all your looks. The Spanish fashion giant has decided to offer an alternative, significantly cheaper and just as stylish, to the iconic Shark Lock Boots by Givenchy. Their particularity? These black leather shoes made in India are covered with a sort of leather gaiter which only reveals their pointed toes. Other distinctive signs: they stop just below the knees and are enhanced with a 7.7 centimeter square heel. The price has nothing to do with it. While the Givenchy model is available at 1,895 euros, the Zara product only costs 179 euros. Either more than 1,700 euros less. It’s your piggy bank that thanks you!
How to wear these trendy Zara boots?
The advantage with these Zara boots is that they slip easily into each of our fall-winter 2023-2024 looks. And as they are the stars of our outfits, they mainly match with basic parts which do not overload the pace. As long as the temperatures permit, they are worn bare legged, then put on thin tights as soon as it starts to get cool. In lace, dotted with plumetis or embroidered with flowers, all eccentricities are permitted as long as you opt for a black pair.
Fashionistas combine them with a loose cardigan, a tank top and a straight miniskirt, for example. Or a little black dress and a long masculine coat. Another possibility: take out old slim jeans from the 2000s out of your closet. Slip the jeans into your boots, put on a navy blue pea coat, choose a handbag in a striking color and that’s it!
