Do you dream of a Caribbean but have neither the time nor the budget for a long trip? Direction an island of Mediterranean, located just two hours from Paris by plane. It conceals treasures that have nothing to envy to distant destinations.
Among its countless wonders, a beach is particularly distinguished. Regularly classified among the most beautiful in the world by travel guides, it attracts visitors each year looking for a change of scenery and crystal clear waters. It is a real gem of the island and it attracts thousands of tourists every year.
Here, transparent waters allow admiring the seabed constellated with star of sea and hippocampes. With its weak depths, the site lends itself ideally to families and swimming in peace, in a setting that the Caribbean Sea would not deny.

His name? The pelosa. Welcome to Sardinia! Nestled near the village of Stontino, in the north of the island, this tongue of fine sand stretches between a sea with infinite shades of blue, green and turquoise while the beach offers a view of a historic tower of the 16th century which added to the charm of the postcard.
But this fame has a price! Victim of its success and tourist over-frequency, the beach experienced an accelerated erosion and an imbalance in its fragile ecosystem. To stem the phenomenon, local authorities had to take measures. Since 2021, access to this paradise has been limited to 1,500 visitors per day. Reservations are compulsory, as is the wearing of a bracelet attesting to the entry right. This sesame is only issued against 3.50 euros per person. A small sacrifice quickly forgotten compared to the unique experience that awaits you on the spot.
Please note, strict rules are to be observed at the Pelousa. The towels must imperatively be placed on mats so as not to disperse the sand. Glass objects are prohibited, as well as any sand sample, even in tiny quantities. Patrols watch over the grain and verbalize offenders. The preservation of this little paradise is at this price!
