Status holder or asylum seeker?
If asylum seekers receive a residence permit, they are called status holders from that moment on. They can then leave the shelter and from that moment on, municipalities are obliged to house a number of status holders per year by offering them a home. That’s called the task.
Different rules apply to refugees from Ukraine. They can immediately work and rent a home and do not have to apply for asylum first.
